Any% aims to finish the game as fast as possible. In this category lethal weapon strategies against enemies are used, alerts taken in favor for faster walking lines and ignoring most laser traps and explosives by becoming a zombie snake. The biggest skip is not grabbing the Nikita weapon in the armory and not having to shoot the 3 sensors in B2 to continue directly to the Engineering room.

Emulator Zombie Snake Example

  • Hug the rail on right to only get shot by the turret once
  • USE PHONE NOT WII CONTROLLER
  • Skip the cutscene, then skip the codec
  • Approach sensor on top, fire SOCOM, then switch to camouflage (one tap down) in fpv and take a photo of the sensor
  • Enter elevator, be ready for a codec during the load
  • Skip the codec then enter the Mess Hall again
  • Skip the codec and repeat the Mess Hall movement
  • Skip the codec, equip chaff (one tap up), throw a chaff grenade
  • Hug the wall as you round the corner to avoid getting shot

Emulator Zombie Snake Example

  • Skip the codec, then enter the Control Room
  • Pick up ration in NE corner(probably worth?)
  • Hug the west wall, sometimes turret will shoot you
  • Hug the lockers along top to easily pick up C4 as you move left
  • Mash center/5 to climb boxes
  • Equip C4 (3 taps up or down) and lay it down by the metal part, make sure to stand back!
  • If you move quickly and approach the door from the bottom edge, you can skip the codec
  • Zombie Snake is faster for this laser rather than shooting the sensors

  • Skip the cutscene, then skip the codec
  • Equip the SOCOM if you haven't already (two taps up)
  • Round the crate quickly and third person auto aim at the left guard. One shot one kill.
  • Afterwards, continue to round the crate and fire north into the right guard.

What is faster, Lethal vs Non-Lethal takedown of the guards?

Technically lethal can be faster. While shooting the guards only takes 1 lethal shot vs 2 non-lethal shots (most of the time), it will even out with the delay of opening the door. When killing the guards in a lethal matter, they will need to despawn first before the door opens. In that time Snake can move closer to the door. Non-Lethal takedowns don't require the guards to despawn to have the door open, but snake also needs to walk further. If a way is found to consistently one non-lethal shot both guards in this hallway, non-lethal can be faster.

Lethal Fight Example

  • After the elevator lands, skip the cutscene
  • Run into the corner and fire at the Commander in TPV
  • Run down and pick up the FAMAS, equip the FAMAS (one tap up)
  • run east to pick up ammo, chaff and ration (make sure to equip rations!)
  • Tossing chaff grenades will speed up the i-frames that Commander has.
  • The goal is to minimize Commander's movement and i-frames throughout the fight.
  • Hold down fire to autofire the FAMAS
  • You can ignore the goon that comes in, focus on the Commander
  • Whenever a cutscene plays, resources respawn, so take advantage to run east and pick up ammo/rations again
  • After defeating the Commander, IGT ends when credits begin - Mash the action buton so the “Error” screen moves over to credits as soon as possible.
