MGS2 Normal Guide (CW Bombs, Socom Strats)

Here is an up-to-date guide for Normal difficulty for MGS2. This involves clockwise bomb disposal and not picking up the M9, along with most of the fastest strats with a few minor variations. It is one video edited and stitched together for efficiency, but does a good job of explaining how to do just about everything with button inputs. Demonstrated on the PC version, but applies to HD Collection as well. Most of it applies to PS2, but there are some instances where areas won't (elevator clip vs. swim glitch for example). Additional notes:

  • 1. Tanker part of the guide, quality was rendered a little bit lower for whatever reason.
  • 2. Deck-C camera roll coming back is NOT in the guide (as in not getting the Alert). I did not notice this until after the guide was rendered, but the roll is a bit inconsistent anyway. Typically you'd roll at the start of the rail like the other side, but sometimes it does not work. Will upload a clip to demo this soon.
  • 3. Right Olga strat has a faster method that was developed after this guide was made. Will upload a clip to demo this soon.
