+Why speedrun The Twin Snakes? The hybrid of MGS1 and 2 opens up strategies that are impossible in the original. The run removes many of the unskippable cutscenes and greatly reduces the amount of backtracking compared to MGS1. There is a great deal of strategy variance depending on your skill level. Boss strategies are different from the original in some interesting ways, such as skipping most of the Ninja fight. The learning curve is rewarding; the game initially is fairly easy, but becomes increasingly complex with precise movement and execution.
